Community midwives work within our medical centre and see and support our pregnant women throughout their pregnancy.

Medication before and during pregnancy
Most medicines taken during pregnancy cross the placenta and reach the baby.
If you are taking medication and are planning a pregnancy, or have recently found out that you are pregnant, please submit an eConsult so that we can advise you further.
If you are taking medication that is currently supervised by a hospital specialist and are thinking about conceiving, please discuss your plans with them in your next appointment.
