Patient Engagement

We do not currently operate a Patient Participation Group, as we aim to engage with our whole patient population and gather feedback that reflects a broad and representative range of views. We achieve this through our Friends and Family Test, feedback forms available both online and within the practice, and regular questionnaires sent to patients using their preferred method of communication.

We encourage all of our patients to engage with the running of the surgery. It really helps us to have your feedback, views and ideas. We will then do our best to improve the service we provide for our whole patient population.
Thank you to all our patients who recently completed our Post Merger feedback survey.
We’ve summarised some of the results of recent feedback below.
We aim to keep you regularly updated with changes in the surgery, and our responses to your suggestions. Please read our newsletter and latest ‘You said, We did’ below, and follow us on Facebook or Instagram for regular updates.

GP Patient Survey

The GP Patient Survey is an independent survey run by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England.

It includes questions about a range of issues, such as how easy or difficult it is to make an appointment at the practice, satisfaction with opening hours, the quality of care received from GPs and practice nurses, among other things. This survey is an opportunity for patients to have their say about how well their practice is doing at providing these services to patients.

The feedback we receive will be used to see where we may need to improve and will help us to develop our services in the future.
The survey is sent out annually to over two million people across the UK. The results show how people feel about their GP practice.
The GP Survey is sent via letter or text in early January, those selected will have until the end of March to complete the survey.
The survey has been designed to give patients the opportunity to feed back about their experiences of their GP practice. The survey asks about patient experiences of local GP practice and other local NHS services and includes questions about their general health.

Further information regarding the survey can be found on the GP Patient Survey website. Follow this link.
